For me... Sprouts hold so much possibility and promise. They speak of the beauty to come if only we can be patient just a little longer. As someone with what I like to call a "black thumb," seeing sprouts I have planted leaves me feeling like I have overcome the initial hurdle! They get me excited about the strawberries in my planter box, the sunflowers to come, and the garlic I will harvest when the time is right. I'm not the only one who gets this excited about sprouts, am I?
